The impact of an inequitable justice system on Black and Brown residents of the Commonwealth is felt throughout our affiliate communities. We are addressing this at city halls, schools, and within the criminal justice system itself.

While the selective telling of that history is often problematic, so is the lack of welcome new immigrants receive today. Exercising the right to vote is a fundamental tenet of democracy, but there are often challenges and systemic barriers to getting to the polls come election day.
