informing the movement in me
I want a world where we stop systematizing the hurts that are tearing us all apart. I want that to be accomplished by people stepping more fully into themselves, into joy and happiness with hope for a future that we build together. MCAN creates a better tomorrow because we care about the people standing in front of us today. We see their potential and we’re building together to have the power we need to have it all.
I’m here to build people up. For 15 years, I’ve learned the art of deep listening, deep loving, and the joy of developing others. I’ve learned strategy and the art of questioning. And I’ve learned about winning and losing. It’s time to ensure that our entire team across the state is as equipped as possible to turn our effort into the moral voice for the State of Massachusetts…and then the nation.

My experience at MCAN has made me a better mother, a better partner, and a better human being. This work makes us better people. We can’t get to a different tomorrow without recognizing our own need to grow. As we do that with intentionality, we are going to build a world worthy of each of us. One that my three boys can grow into, free of the burden of generations before who weren’t able to get it right.
IN THE FIELD
It is an honor to lead trainings like this that don’t only teach organizing strategy but open people’s eyes to how powerful they already are, exactly as they are.
